How to generate a CSR for a domain from cPanel at Lightningbase?

A CSR is essential for obtaining an SSL/TLS certificate, which is used to secure communications between a client (such as a web browser) and a server. This ensures data privacy and integrity. If you obtain a certificate from a trusted SSL provider, you must complete the Certificate Signing Request form to provide the information needed to generate your SSL certificate.

To Generate a CSR for a Domain from cPanel follow the below steps:

- Log in to cPanel using the steps mentioned in https://secure.lightningbase.com/index.php/knowledgebase/6/How-to-Access-cPanel.html
- Navigate to SSL/TLS from the Security section.
- Click on "Generate, view, or delete SSL certificate signing requests" from the right-hand side.
- From here it is possible to generate view or delete SSL certificate signing requests(CSR).
- Fill in the CSR Details:

1. Key
2. City
3. State
4. Country
5. Company
6. Company Division
7. Email
8. Passphrase

- Click on "Generate". cPanel will create a new CSR.

Once you have generated the CSR, you can submit it to your chosen Certificate Authority to obtain your SSL/TLS certificate.
